Terriers Dominate Saint Francis To Earn 4-0 Start For Third Time In School History

Hiram Defeats Saint Francis 46-10 In First Match Up In School History

Hiram, Ohio – October 3, 2026 – The Hiram Terrier football team welcomed brand new PAC opponent Saint Francis to Charles A. Henry Field for the very first matchup between the schools in an evening showdown. The Terriers dominated the Red Wolves, putting up a impressive display on both sides of the ball by defeating the Red Wolves handily with a score of 46-10.

The Terriers started out the game hot, where Hiram scored on their very first play when quarterback Sean Tejeda found Kevin Dycks down the sideline for a 75-yard score, giving the Terriers the lead only 10 seconds into the game. The Terrier defense would then stall the Red Wolf offense, giving the ball back to the offense. Tejeda then find another receiver for a huge play, when he found Caleb Tarver for a 53-yard touchdown catch, giving the Terriers the 13-0 lead at the end of the first.

The Terrier defense continued its dominance into the second quarter, when Ocir Kimble recovered a fumble by the Saint Francis QB, setting up the Terriers again. The Hiram offense would then cash in on the short field, when Tejeda found Isaiah Livingstone out of the backfield for a 9-yard score and a 19-0 lead.

Saint Francis would then go on to score, cutting the deficit to 19-7 with only a few minutes left in the half. The Terrier offense went to work quick, when Tejeda would yet again find a receiver for a 50+ yard score, this time finding Dylan Hargas for a 55-yard touchdown. The Terriers would add a 2-point conversion, extending their lead to 27-7 into halftime.

Coming out of the half, the Terrier defense would yet again stop the Red Wolves, and set up their offense. Tejeda would find Caleb Tarver over the middle for a 9-yard score and Tarver's second score of the game. This marks Tarver's first two career touchdowns as a Terrier who had an outstanding game for Hiram. Hiram would take that 33-7 lead into the fourth.

In the fourth, the Terrier ground game would catch fire, when TJ Allen scored two touchdowns, one from 62 yards out, and another one from 45 yards out to seal the victory for Hiram. Ocir Kimble would intercept the ball in the end zone, tallying his third forced turnover of the night - helping lead the Terriers to a dominant 46-10 victory.

Leading the way on the offensive side of the ball was quarterback Sean Tejeda, where he would finish 19-29, with 396 passing yards and 5 passing touchdowns. Leading the ground game for Hiram was TJ Allen, who finished with 5 carries for 120 yards and 2 TD's, led by those two explosive 40+ yard runs.  Kevin Dycks had his best game of the season, finishing with 6 catches for 170 yards and a touchdown. Dylan Hargas continued his dominant season, as he finished with 6 catches for 94 yards and a touchdown. Finishing with 3 catches for 75 yards and 2 touchdowns in a breakout game was Caleb Tarver.

Leading the way defensively was Ocir Kimble, where the sophomore finished with 4 tackles, one fumble recovery, and 2 INT's, having a great day at corner. Jay'l Diaz would also impress, where he would continue his outstanding defensive play, finishing with 9 tackles, including 1.5 TFL's and 0.5 sacks. Kole Scott also finished with 9 tackles.

The Terrier football team will look to continue their hot streak into next week, when it hits the road to Beaver Falls, PA for another PAC match up, this time facing the Golden Tornadoes of Geneva College, with kickoff set for 3:00 p.m.
