HIRAM, Ohio – January 12, 2026 – Taveon Moss earned his second PAC Newcomer of the Week award on Monday afternoon, as announced by the Presidents' Athletic Conference in a release. Moss had previously won the award on Nov. 24, making him the first student-athlete on the team to earn multiple conference-wide awards this season.

Moss was a standout at Hiram's dual meet against Saint Vincent this past Thursday, beating Dylan Klim by fall (1:33) to give his team the early advantage against a PAC rival. The Terriers ended up losing the dual, 37-14, despite Moss's dominance in the 125-lb weight class.

For the season, Moss has tallied a team-high 16 wins, nine of which have come by pin fall. He also has won all three of his bouts in PAC duals this season.

The Terriers will get plenty of competition on Saturday, when they travel to Washington & Jefferson to participate in the Jim White Duals at 10 a.m. in Washington, PA.
