HIRAM, Ohio - December 17, 2025 - Hiram cruised to a 41-18 victory over PAC opponent, Waynesburg, as part of Senior Day on Wednesday afternoon inside Price Gymnasium.
Highlighting the dual was senior Will Brodbeck, who picked up a win by fall over Kaleb McCamick (0:40) to celebrate one of his final meets in the blue and red. Prior to the dual, Brodbeck was accompanied by his parents and honored by the home crowd for his four-year contributions to the program.
Brodbeck, who began with the team under former head coach Andy Vogel in 2022-23, has the third-most wins on the team (39) since it returned to competition in 2021-22, trailing only Alex Savering and Seth Holt. He also placed twice at individual events throughout his career, including the Mount Union Invitational on Nov. 1 this season.
Brodbeck's victory gave the Terriers an 18-6 lead in the dual, an advantage that would hold to the finish. Following up the senior's win was King-Amari Wright (165 lbs), who beat Jarvis Thomas by fall (1:43).Â
The momentum continued to be in the home team's favor, as Issac Ray won an entertaining bout by technical fall (19-4) against AJ Tomaino (19-4) before Dino Longo won in the final second by fall (6:59) against Isaiah Siwik.
The dual victory marks Hiram's first of the season and first against a PAC opponent. The team will next get another PAC matchup on Jan. 8, when it hosts Saint Vincent at 1 p.m. inside Price Gymnasium in Hiram, OH.
