HIRAM, Ohio - December 22, 2025 - Hiram men's wrestling swept the weekly Presidents' Athletic Conference awards on Monday afternoon, as Will Brodbeck earned PAC Athlete of the Week and Dino Longo won PAC Newcomer of the Week, as announced by the conference in a press release.

It marks the first career conference-wide awards for both students-athletes, with Brodbeck celebrating Senior Day and Longo continuing to make a splash in his first collegiate season. Both awards were given for the period from Dec. 8-21.

Brodbeck went 2-1 over Hiram's last three dual meets over the last two weeks against Muskingum, Mount Union and Waynesburg. Included in that record is a win by fall against the Fighting Muskies' Aiden Johnson (5:31), as well as a win by fall against the Yellow Jackets' Kaleb McCamick (0:40). On the season, Brodbeck ranks second on the team in both wins (11) and wins by fall (5).

Not only did Brodbeck celebrate Senior Day with his family and friends this past Wednesday inside Price Gymnasium, but he also currently stands fourth in wins among Hiram wrestlers since the program's return to competition in 2021-22. With 39 career wins, Brodbeck trails only Alex Savering (59), Seth Holt (50) and Jimmy Thomas (46).

Longo continued the strong start to his collegiate career over those three dual wins, picking up a pair of wins by fall against Muskingum's Dursa Bosat (5:23) and Waynesburg's Isaiah Siwik (6:59). The second of those two wins came in the final second, with the first-year from Bunn, NC fighting to the finish in one of the most entertaining bouts of the 2025-26 campaign.

Longo joined his teammate, Taveon Moss, as the two Hiram student-athletes to earn PAC Newcomer of the Year this season.

Hiram is back in action on Thursday, Jan. 8 for a dual against Saint Vincent at 1 p.m. inside Price Gymnasium in Hiram, OH.
