PAINESVILLE, Ohio - February 6, 2026 - Hiram's Nathan Westinghouse highlighted a dual meet against Lake Erie on Friday evening, as the junior won his exhibition match despite the team's 53-0 loss to the Division II competition.
Westinghouse beat Dennis Lafon by major decision (14-6) at the 157-lb weight class, capping off the team's final meet ahead of the PAC Championships next Saturday. Eleven total Terriers wrestlers competed in the event against a Lake Erie team that placed fourth in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference last week.
In addition to Westinghouse, the full Hiram lineup for Friday consisted of Taveon Moss (125 lbs), JT Hagood (141 lbs), Will Brodbeck (149 lbs), Jackson Bowers (157 lbs), King-Amari Wright (165 lbs), Kaden Duke (174 lbs), Issac Ray (184 lbs), Dino Longo (197 lbs), Eddie Powers (285 lbs) and Dominic Cardoso (149 lbs).
The Terriers will take that group back home in hopes of making a strong push at the PAC Championships next Saturday at 11 a.m. inside Price Gymnasium.
