HIRAM, Ohio - February 14, 2026 - Hiram has acclimated well since returning to PAC men's wrestling competition at the start of last season. The Terriers had three all-conference selections at the conference championship in 2025 before adding another three on Saturday afternoon – all of whom were first-time honorees.
Taveon Moss was the PAC Champion at 125 lbs as well as the PAC Newcomer of the Year, while both Will Brodbeck (149 lbs) and Dino Longo (197 lbs) also placed third in their respective brackets. JT Haygood was also named to the PAC All-Sportsmanship Team to round out the awards.
Moss went a perfect 3-0 in a 125-lb bracket that featured seven student-athletes from across the conference. The freshman won all three of those bouts by fall against Thiel (2:45) and two wrestlers from W&J (3:44 and 5:35). Moss already holds the program record for pins in a single season (since the program returned to Hiram College), and now has his sights set on a deep run at the NCAA Regional Tournament later this month.
Brodbeck continued to put some impactful marks on his senior season, beating Thiel by technical fall (15-0) and Bethany by fall (3:21) to secure a spot in the semifinals. He lost that round to Saint Vincent (technical fall, 21-5), but bounced back with consecutive wins to take down the consolation bracket and earn a third-place award.
Longo was just as effective as his veteran teammate, as he also earned a pair of wins in the consolation bracket to earn third place. He beat Saint Vincent by fall (5:56) and W&J by decision (8-5) to finish with a 2-1 record for the day and a call to the awards stage at the end of the meet.
Also earning victories for the Terriers were Nathan Westinghouse (149 lbs), Jackson Bowers (157 lbs), King-Amari Wright (fourth place at 165 lbs), Kaden Duke (fourth place at 174 lbs), Issac Ray (184 lbs) and Eddie Powers (285 lbs).
Collectively as a team, Hiram 58 points and placed fourth out of the six teams competing. Saint Vincent took down the PAC crown, while Thiel finished just behind the Bearcats in second place.
The Terriers will next compete at NCAA Regionals beginning on Saturday, Feb. 28.Â
