ALLIANCE, Ohio - December 13, 2025 - Hiram men's wrestling lost to Mount Union, 49-4, on Saturday afternoon to round out the weekend.
The Terriers finished the two-day span with an 0-2 record, but still had a number of notable results against a pair of OAC opponents in Muskingum and the Purple Raiders. For the season, Hiram is still searching for its first win, although the team will have a chance to get back on course on Wednesday at home.
Taveon Moss picked up the team's lone win on the day, starting off the dual in the 125-lb weight class with a win by major decision (11-1) against Mount Union's Aidan Carone. For the season, Moss has a team-high 15 wins, along with a PAC Newcomer of the Week award to his name.
Hiram will have its first PAC dual of the season on Wednesday, when it hosts the Yellow Jackets of Waynesburg at 1 p.m. inside Price Gymnasium. Senior Will Brodbeck will be honored ahead of that event as part of Senior Day.
