HIRAM, Ohio – August 15, 2025 – Hiram Softball had seven selections to the Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes list earlier this summer, capping off a 2025 season that saw the team win more than 20 games for the fifth straight year while also performing at a high level in the classroom.

Those selections included first-year Ari Torres, sophomores Hannah Heath, Hannah Marlow, Daynna Mekaru and Haven Papineau, junior Megan Moser and senior Fayth Kawamura.

To qualify, a student-athlete must achieve at least a 3.5 GPA for the 2024-25 academic year. The Terriers softball program has had six-or-more selections to this prestigious list in each of the last four seasons, with Heath, Marlow, Mekaru, Papineau, Moser and Kawamura representing the program's repeat winners of the award.

Hiram is now set to begin the 2025-26 campaign, when the team returns a number of impactful players and looks to make a splash in its return to the Presidents' Athletic Conference.
