Hiram Sets New PRs To Close Out Harrison Dillard Twilight Meet

Terriers Continue Through Final Stretch Of Spring Season In Berea, OH

BEREA, Ohio – May 9, 2025 – Hiram track & field kept the wheels turning at the Harrison Dillard Twilight meet on Thursday and Friday this week, with several student-athletes looking to improve upon their season-best times on the campus of Baldwin Wallace University.

Men's Recap

Sebastian Regalado led off the team's list of competitors on Friday, racing his way to a 16.63 in the 110-meter hurdles. That mark set a new personal best for the first-year from Oviedo, FL, who previously ran a 16.47 at the Sparky Adams Invitational on April 19. Regalado also raced his way to a team-best mark in the 400-meter hurdles (1:00.27), along with his first-year teammate, Maurice Wadesisi (1:03.72).

Tonvanta Revis set new PRs in both the 100-meter dash (11.30) and the 200-meter dash (23.69), as the senior continues to wrap up his career with strong marks across both track & field events. Also featured in the 200-meter dash for the Terriers was freshman Connor Green (23.91).

Women's Recap

On Thursday, Addison Disman placed fourth in the javelin throw with a mark of 32.74m. In the discus, Sam Volpe (35.27m) and Rylie Petroff (33.03m) got more experience with 10th- and 11th-place finishes respectively.

Action resumed on Friday, when Trezure Bates posted a 16.06 in the 100-meter hurdles to place 15th in an impressive prelim field. Shortly thereafter, McKenzie Riley participated in the 800-meter run, racing her way to a new PR of 2:32.723. Alisah Ward rounded out the racing events with a solid time of 1:01.07 in the 400-meter dash and a career-best 27.23 in the 200-meter dash.

In the field events, Chloe Cooper returned to action in the hammer throw (34.75m) and shot put (10.30m). Sam Volpe and Rylie Petroff both competed in the shot put and discus, with Volpe posting marks of 11.42m and 35.27m, while Petroff registered marks of 10.18m and 33.03m.

A select number of Hiram student-athletes will return to competition next week at the Mount Union Last Chance Meet on Wednesday and Thursday in Alliance, OH.
