Hiram Men’s, Women’s Teams Both Finish 8th On A Successful Day

Meadville, PA – November 1, 2025 – It was a very successful Saturday morning for the Hiram Cross Country team, where the Terriers ran several personal bests and earned an All-PAC Honorable Mention, which capped off the PAC Championships hosted by Allegheny College.

For the men, the Terriers finished 8th in the team scoring in a very competitive field. The Terriers were led by sophomore Cayden Jones, who placed 33rd and had a huge personal best, running 29:33, which is almost a minute and a half faster than his previous personal best. Also securing a personal best was Michael Crosby, who placed 42nd and a time of 31:13, which beat his old personal best by 9 seconds. Following Crosby was Tanner Markley, who placed 50th and ran a time of 32:38. Rounding out the Terriers were Aidan Jefferson and Connor Green, who placed 55th and 59th, respectively.

For the women, the Terriers also finished 8th , which was strung by tough, competitive running. Leading the charge was Elaine Guyette, who ran a time of 25:20, which was good enough to earn an All-PAC Honorable Mention accolade with her 17th place finish. Following Guyette was MacKenzie Norton, who ran a time of 26:11 and secured a 36th place finish for the Terriers. Three spots later finished Kylie Moser, who ran a time of 26:26 and finished 39th. Finishing 44th was McKenzie Riley, who finished 30 seconds behind Moser. Rounding out the scoring for the Terriers was Taryn Trem, who finished in 59th place.

Guyette officially earned all-conference honors for the first time in her career after participating in the NCAC Championships in each of the last two years. It marks the first career All-PAC award in Guyette's career, as well as the first all-conference award winner since the Hiram cross country program returned to competition in 2023.

The Terriers will be back in action on November 15, when they travel to Louisville, Kentucky for the NCAA Regional.
