Box Score Hiram, OH --Â Sept. 4, 2022 -- The Hiram Men's Soccer team fell to 0-2 on the young season after losing at home to Washington & Jefferson on Saturday night, Sept. 3.Â
The Presidents scored twice in the first half. Zach Bowser opened the scoring at 26:21. Ian Gillespie increased the lead with a goal at 32:51 for a halftime advantage of 2-0.
However, the Terriers' Koltyn Hunt beat the W&J goaltender on a penalty kick at 67:05 to breathe life into the terriers. The next several minutes of action were intense, but the Presidents' Josiah Winters ended the suspense at 74:44 with the final tally of the game.
The Terriers 0-2 on the young season. The next action is Tuesday night, Sept. 7, at Chatham at 7 pm.
