ADRIAN, Mich. – February 8, 2022 – Hiram women's wrestling picked up multiple wins at the Adrian Round Robins event hosted by Adrian College on Tuesday night.

Katie Vogt-Shields, wrestling at 143 lbs., went 2-0 for the event beating two Adrian wrestlers. Vogt- Shields took down Shaylyn Eggleston by fall and Nahomi Marmolejo by fall at 1:37.

In her lone bout of the day, Kylee Bentley beat Jayla Oberst, 9-6, while wrestling at 116 lbs.

Wrestling at 130 lbs., Bethany Smith dropped two matches against Adrian. Reene Richter won 10-4, followed by Mackenzie Tayerle winning by fall at 0:59.

Kinora Hayes fell in two matches for the event, dropping matches against Adrian. Wrestling at 170 lbs., Aspen Dodge won by fall and Sienna Lejeune also won by fall.

JoRee Ybarra also competed in just one bout for the event, wrestling at 191 lbs. Kaiya Rowan beat Ybarra by fall.

Just one more event takes place in the regular season for the Terriers. The team takes part in the Lock Haven Duals on Sunday, Feb. 13 hosted by Lock Haven University in Lock Haven, Pa.

Along with the host school, Sacred Heart and East Stroudsburg will also take part in the event beginning at 1 p.m.
