UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio - November 23, 2025 - Hiram women's wrestling went 2-2 at the JCU Women's Wrestling Duals on Sunday, as the team beat Penn State Altoona (30-15) and Alfred State (27-17) before losing to John Carroll (34-12) and D'Youville (38-8).

The event marked the Terriers' final tune-up before the AMCC Duals, a midseason event that will test the team against its other conference competition.

Autumn Shoff had a strong performance in the dual against Alfred State, beating her opponent in the 117-lb weight class by fall (0:58). Emrie Fink at 145 lbs (fall, 5:41), Alma Morales at 160 lbs (dec, 12-5), Cicely Cullins at 180 lbs (technical fall, 12-2) and Nikkiah Smith at 207 lbs (fall, 1:49) also won in their bouts against the Pioneers to seal the dominant win.

Also winning on the day was Lexi Doerflinger against John Carroll in the 110-lb weight class (technical fall, 10-0) and Cullins against D'Youville (decision, 5-3).

The Terriers will compete at the AMCC Duals in just under two weeks on Saturday, Dec. 6 at 11:30 a.m. in Altoona, PA.
