ADRIAN, Michigan - November 9, 2025 - Hiram women's wrestling wrapped up its weekend in Adrian on Sunday, as the team competed in both the Adrian Duals on Saturday and the Adrian Invitational on Sunday as part of a busy early-season stretch.

Hiram picked up a win in the duals over Point Park University, while multiple student-athletes had standout performances in the individual events to round out the weekend.

In the duals, Emily Lorenzon picked up a win against Albion by technical fall (12-1), which marked her first career victory. Lorenzon added to her successful weekend on Sunday, when she beat a wrestler from Rochester University by fall (5:20).

Junior Lexi Doerflinger, who has qualified for nationals in each of the last two seasons, started her 2025-26 campaign with a win over Lindsey Wilson College by fall (1:48). Also on Saturday, Doerflinger beat Carthage University by technical fall (10-0).

In the win over Point Park, Hiram's Autumn Shoff (fall, 2:00), Kretina Rai (fall, 2:24) and Leighna Prater (fall, 1:26) all picked up victories to help earn their team its first dual victory of the young season. It marked the first career victory for Rai, while Prater would go on to pick up another two wins in the Invitational on Sunday.

First-year Cicely Cullins also had a weekend to remember, beating Carthage University (decision, 8-0) for her first career victory before winning twice on Sunday over John Carroll and Alma. In addition to Cullins, first-years Katie Harshbarger and Alma Morales combined for three wins over the course of the day on Sunday.

One week separates Hiram from its next competition, as the team will head to Albion, MI for the Albion Invite next Sunday.
