The Hiram men's swimming team lost a tough meet to the Wilmington Quakers on Saturday afternoon. The Quakers dominated the majority of the match, winning 10 of the 13 total events.
Hiram had three different men win three different events. Owen Pastorius was victorious in the 200-meter butterfly with a final time of 2.33.08. In the 50-meter freestyle, Dayne Sauter won with an impressive time of 25.46. Lastly, Jon Hybil took the 200-meter breaststroke with a final time of 2.43.70.
The 200-meter freestyle relay team, consisting of Dayne Sauter, Jon Hybil, Owen Pastorius and Nathan Ratynski, was victorious in the relay with a score of 1.45.74.
The men's swimming team will be in action again next Saturday, as Bethany travels to Hiram for a 1 p.m. meet.
