1. Can you tell us a little bit about yourself (major, year, sport, hometown, high school, etc.) and your background?
I hail from a small town just outside of Massillon, called Brewster. It's very similar in size to Hiram. I graduated from Fairless High School.
2. Why Hiram?
Hiram is a great school with oodles of resources and other things alike. There's always programs and events going on every single day!
3. What was the recruiting process like for you?
I was contacted by some different schools, but Hiram just seemed like the best decision. Close to home & the brand new scoreboard could've also influenced the decision a bit.
4. What are you most looking forward to about playing your sport at the collegiate level?
Going out there with eight other guys who love the game. Everyone is invested and everyone puts time and work in toward the same goal of success.
5. Who are some of your biggest role models or influences, both on-and-off the field?
Bartolo Colon. When he's not giving back to his community, he's shoving some gas
6. What did you do this past summer?
I worked part-time at Subway all summer. I also played some summer baseball with Ohio Torque.
7. What else besides athletics do you plan on getting involved with on-campus?
I can't really say. There are so many options that it's very hard to choose one thing to pursue.
8. What are some of your goals, both athletically and academically, for your first-year at Hiram?
Do well in the classroom and do my best on the field.
9. Who's your favorite professional sports team?
Colorado Rockies.
10. Who's your favorite professional athlete?
Trevor Story.
11. What's your favorite movie/TV show?
How I Met Your Mother.
12. What song or podcast are you listening to right now?
Hysteria - Def Leppard
13. What's your favorite food?
Shrimp Jambalaya
14. What's your favorite athletics memory?
Winning a tournament game my senior year in high school.
15. What's your favorite thing about Hiram so far?
Walking around in late September and early October. The fall is awesome to see and experience here.
