ADRIAN, Mich. – November 14, 2021 – Hiram women's wrestling competed in the Adrian Open Sunday afternoon, finishing in 12^th place with 13.0 points.

Wrestling at 109 lbs., Kylee Bentley (0-2), was defeated by Kelly Enriquez of the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point and Valeriia Mamleeva of Lindenwood. Both Enriquez and Mamleeva won by fall in their respective matches.

In the 116 lbs. department, Kenedi Keesey (0-2), fell in two matches vs.Natalie Majer and Nani-Marie McFadden. Majer, of Carthage, won by tech fall and McFadden, of Aurora, won by fall.

Bethany Smith (0-2), wrestling at 130 lbs., dropped matches against Maryanne Walker of Emory & Henry and Sharon Leon of Indiana Tech. Walker won by fall and Leon won by tech fall.

Wrestling at 155 lbs. Katie Vogt-Shields (0-2) was defeated by two Adrian wrestlers in Taylor Cutler and Kayley Rada. Cutler won by fall and Rada won by tech.

Kinora Hayes (2-3) placed sixth scoring 10.0 team points. Tabitha Breitrick, from the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point, and Amara Devericks of Gannon, each won by fall. Hayes defeated Yamilex Perez of Adrian by fall. In the consolation bracket, Hayes defeated Ybarra by fall.

JoRee Ybarra (0-5) placed 8th scoring 3.0 team points. Kaycee Fitero and Alina Arana of Lindenwood each won by fall. Andreia Langley of Emory & Henry defeated Ybarra by tech fall. In the consolation bracket, Hayes won by fall.

Hiram women's wrestling is back on the mats on Saturday, Nov. 20 in Albion, Mich. taking part in the Albion Invitational starting at 9 a.m.
