Terriers Stung by Yellow Jackets

HIRAM, Ohio – The Hiram College softball team fell short by a final score of 8-0 in both of their games against the Baldwin Wallace Yellow Jackets on Friday afternoon.

The Terriers now stand at 7-23 (2-8 NCAC) on the season, while the Yellow Jackets improve to 15-18-1 (4-9-1 OAC).

Shalynn Call was the top player for Hiram. The pitcher shined in her 3.1 innings of relief work in game two, giving up no runs and surrendering only two hits. She also recorded a strikeout.

The Terriers will next travel to Granville on Sunday, April 23 to take on the Denison Big Red in a doubleheader. First pitch for game one is set for 1:00 p.m.
