HIRAM, Ohio – May 26, 2026 – Hiram's Megan Moser, Hannah Marlow and Haven Papineau each earned spots on the College Sports Communicators (CSC, formerly CoSIDA) Academic All-District® Softball Team on Tuesday, as announced by the organization in a release.

The award recognizes the top student-athletes on the field and in the classroom for their contributions this past season. Players from the Division I, II and III levels are all recognized, as well as NAIA.

To be eligible, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore and achieve a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50 at the conclusion of the season. They also must compete in at least 90 percent of games for the 2026 season (or start in 66 percent).

It's the second straight season in which Marlow, Moser and Papineau each earned the award, a remarkable feat for the trio.

Marlow, who also was an All-PAC First Team selection, finished the year with team-bests in batting average (.383), hits (44), doubles (10), home runs (5) and RBI (37). The corner infielder will enter her senior season with a chance to lift Hiram to another postseason berth, as well as find her name among the best in the program's record book.

Moser was one of Hiram's nominees for the PAC Scholar-Athlete of the Year award as one of the College's most well-rounded student-athletes. The four-year member of the team led the Terriers with 29 runs scored this past season, and notably was named a PAC Offensive Player of the Week on March 23.

Papineau continues to shine as a versatile player, taking on a key defensive role as a "flex" player at first base throughout the season. A former standout on the swimming team, Papineau has thrived in a number of areas throughout her three years at Hiram College.

Hiram Softball now has eight CSC Academic All-District® selections over the past two seasons, with both of those campaigns ending with winning records in conference play and conference tournament appearances.

The program will look to build upon that success in 2027; next season begins with a round robin at Bridgewater College (Bridgewater, VA) from February 20-21.
