Softball Falls Twice in Season-Opening Doubleheader

March 5 – TUCSON, Ariz. – The Hiram College softball team dropped a pair of games to open the 2017 regular season, falling to Concordia University (Nebraska) and Bethany Wesleyan on Sunday.

The Terriers fell 13-0 to the Bulldogs, a member of the NAIA, before dropping a 7-2 decision to the Swedes.

Against Bethany Wesleyan, Marley Oles and Mackenzie Dombrowski each tallied two hits, apiece, while Dana Perrotta and Nikki Budner drove in runs. Oles finished the day a perfect 3-for-3 between the two games.

Hiram will be back in action on Monday as they continue their spring break trip to Tucson, Ariz. with matchups against Newbury College and Bethany Lutheran
