HIRAM, Ohio - April 7, 2026 - For the first time in his collegiate career, Hiram's Tucker Marmash took home a conference-wide honor, as the senior from Akron, OH was named the PAC Field Athlete of the Week on Tuesday late afternoon.

Marmash is the first male athlete on the team to earn a PAC Athlete of the Week award this season, and joins Sam Volpe, Angelina Weems and Karalyn Rutkowski as the four student-athletes in the program to earn at least one of the honors this season.

Marmash was stellar in the team's second meet of the outdoor season this past Saturday, posting a first-place mark – and new career-best mark – of 7.19m in the long jump to top the leaderboard. The field included 19 different student-athletes, none of whom jumped to the seven-meter mark that Marmash handily achieved.

Marmash will continue to take aim at the outdoor program record, which is currently held by Gavin Dunn (7.24m last season).

The Terriers will return to competition this weekend, when the team splits up between the Mount Union Invitational and Bison Outdoor Classic. Full coverage for both events can be found on the track and field schedule at https://hiramterriers.com/sports/track-and-field/schedule.
