Hiram, Ohio – March 31, 2026 – Ethan Ryan of baseball, Emma Shelnutt of STUNT and Hannah Murton of STUNT have all earned Terrier of the Week Honors. This comes after impressive performances by each student athlete which helped lead their team to victories over the weekend.

Ethan Ryan was outstanding this week at the plate, finishing 8-18 (.444) with 3 RBIs, capped off by a 5-6 performance in the second game against Franciscan, as he hit 4 singles and 1 double. Ryan is currently batting .250 this season with a .600 OPS while also going 4-4 in stolen bases, which currently leads the team. The junior from Pataskala, OH has been off to an impressive start this season, and he looks to continue his hot hitting into conference play. Hiram's next opponent will be against Baldwin Wallace University, with the first pitch set for 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Emma Shelnutt and Hannah Murton combined for 7 seasons with the Hiram STUNT program, and they were honored pregame Sunday morning for their contributions to the program. Shelnutt was a three-year member of the Hiram program, primarily serving as a backspot and jumper over her time with the Terriers. She also was a member of the 2024 STUNT team that advanced to the Division III national championship against Alma. Murton was a four-year member of the Terriers STUNT team, which included a 7-4 season in 2023 and a trip to the STUNT National Championship Game in 2024. Murton was a CSCA Academic Honor Roll selection, as well as an academic honor roll selection when the Terriers were a member of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference. Both seniors will wrap up their careers with the Terriers, as they both gave so much to the program.
