Hiram, Ohio – April 13, 2026 – Ian Muka of men's golf and Hannah Marlow of softball have been selected for this week's Terriers of the Week honor. This comes after impressive performances by each student-athlete in their respective competitions last week.
Muka led the way for the Terriers last weekend at the Wooster Invitational, finishing with a score of 76 on the par-72, 6,917-yard course. That score was tied for seventh in the field of 36 golfers, giving Hiram a chance to climb the team standings at the end of the day. The sophomore from Mount Vernon, OH has been off to an impressive start for the spring season, and he will look to continue his success next week, when they travel to Denison Sunday afternoon for the Denison Spring Shootout.
Marlow continued her career year over four games this past week, three of which were victories over Chatham and Thiel (twice). The junior third baseman had a pair of three-hit games and hit safely in all four games between the two doubleheaders; she finished the week batting .615 (8-for-13) with one home run, two doubles and six RBI, keeping Hiram in position to earn a PAC Tournament berth at the end of the regular season. Marlow and the Terriers will be back in action on Monday, when they will resume their suspended game at Franciscan.
