HIRAM, Ohio – March 26, 2026 – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) released the 2025-26 CSC Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Basketball teams on Tuesday, which honors student-athletes from the Division I, Division II, Division III and NAIA levels for their performance both athletically and academically. Hiram College had four student-athletes earn this prestigious honor, including Sarah Seaman and Advika Srinivasan from the women's team, and Liam Gopalakrishna and Manuel Devora Violan from the men's team.

It marks the first time Seaman, Srinivasan, and Gopalakrishna have earned the award, while Devora Violan has qualified for the third straight season. To qualify, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore with a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or above; they also must compete in 90 percent of the intuition's games or started in at least 66 percent of those games from the most recent season.

Seaman, an all-PAC Honorable Mention selection, ranked fourth in the entire PAC in PPG (16.1), which also marked the best scoring average over her four-year career at Fredonia State and Hiram. The Garrettsville, OH native was particularly effective through her consistency, scoring double-figures in 21 of her 25 games played, all of which came in the starting lineup. Seaman's best performance from the season came in the team's late-season matchup against Geneva at home, where she scored a career-high 30 points, with 18 of those points coming from scoring outside the arc.

Srinivasan returned to the hardwood this year for the Terriers, starting in 16 out of 25 games, after suffering a season ending injury in the 2024-25 season. The senior shot an impressive 36.4% from beyond the arc (5th best in program history). She made 3+ three-point field goals in 10 games this season. The Lewisville, TX native scored a career-high 18 points against Grove City where she shot 5-12 from beyond the arc.

Originally from Macedonia, OH, Gopalakrishna transferred to Hiram after spending time at Terra State Community College where he knocked down 68 threes at a 39.4% clip. The junior picked up where he left off as he quickly turned into a reliable shooter for the Terriers. Gopalakrishna appeared in 23 games (3 starts), knocking down 20 three-point field goals while shooting 35.7%.

Devora Violan served a key role as both a starter and reserve in 2025-26, which included a 17-point, 7 assist, and 7 rebound performance against Allegheny in February. The Tenerife (Canary Islands) native had 20 different games this season with at least one steal, including five steals in a win over Adrian. Devora Violan played 77 games (23 starts) over the last four winter campaigns.

Both Hiram basketball teams will look to build off their first year spent in the Presidents' Athletic Conference. The two rosters will train throughout the spring, summer, and fall before returning to competition in a highly anticipated 2026-27 campaign.
