Terriers Outpaced By PAC North Rival Geneva

Hiram Drops Game To Golden Tornadoes 76-69

HIRAM, Ohio – February 18, 2026- The Hiram men's basketball team welcomed their PAC North rival Geneva College for a conference battle Wednesday night. The Terriers fought hard but eventually fell to the Golden Tornadoes, 76-69.

The Terriers tried to mount a comeback attempt in the second half, with the team starting an offensive explosion, while getting the necessary stops on defense to cut the lead to one possession. But the late play of the Golden Tornadoes down the stretch is what proved to be the difference, as the Terriers fell by 7 points.

Ten different players etched their name in the scoring column; leading the way for the Terriers was Collin Jones. Jones finished with 16 points on 6-11 shooting from the field. This marks Jones's eighth consecutive game scoring 10+ points, as he continues to fill up the scoring sheet.

Also finishing with 10+ points was Josh Martin, who finished with 10 points and grabbed four rebounds. Falling 1 point short of a double-double was DJ Niles, who grabbed 10 rebounds and dropped 9 points, as he continues to be a dominant presence on the glass.

The Terriers will be back in action on Saturday, when they face Allegheny College for Senior Day and the final game of the 2025-2026 season. The tip-off is scheduled for 3 p.m.
