HIRAM, Ohio- March 2, 2026- The men's track and field 4x400m relay team consisting of Kamran Walton, DeAco Curry, Aidan Shiels and Nathan Feltner, as well as Janelle Steiner of women's lacrosse, have earned this week's edition of Terriers of the Week. This achievement comes after impressive performances by each student-athlete, which led to these athletes being selected by the Hiram Sports Information Department.

The 4x400m relay team had a record-setting weekend at the PAC Indoor Track and Field Championships. Walton, Curry, Shiels, and Feltner set a new program record of 3:19.72. They shattered the previous record by over 10 seconds. On top of setting a new program record, the relay team also set a new PAC Indoor Championship record; the previous record was 3:23.14 set by Bethany College. Shiels and Curry also performed well in the 800-meter race; Shiels ran a personal best and set a new program record with a time 1:54.13, while finishing in first place. Curry finished right behind in second place with a personal best time of 1:55.60.

Women's lacrosse returned to the field this past Saturday for the first time since 2020 against Marietta College. In the Terriers first game in nearly six years, Steiner led the team in draw controls (5) and tied for the second-most ground balls (3). Sophomore Lainey West scored the first goal for the program this season, as they fell to the Pioneers. The Terriers will continue ramp up non-conference play in preparation for their first season in the Presidents' Athletic Conference.
