HIRAM, Ohio – February 23, 2026- Alana Smith of STUNTand Manuel Devora Violan of men's basketball have earned this week's edition of Terriers of the Week, as announced by the Hiram Sports Information department on Monday afternoon. This comes after impressive individual performances by each student-athlete in their respective events last week. 

Alana Smith stepped up for the Terriers against Centenary and Muskingum, serving as the primary flyer and tumbler in those matches. This is Smith's second season with the Hiram STJUNT program, and the sophomore from Rootstown, Ohio has been a crucial part to the Terriers' success this season as a program. Smith and the rest of the Terriers will be back on Sunday, when they travel to Heidelberg University to face the Heidelberg Student Princes and also the Comets of the University of Olivet. 

Manuel Devora Violan was outstanding in his final game as a Terrier, as he finished with a season-high 17 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists on 7-12 shooting in an 88-69 win Saturday vs Allegheny. Devora Violan was honored pregame as one of the four seniors that have given so much to the program as a whole. Devora Violan was a four-year member of the Terrier basketball program, as he appeared in over 75 games over the course of his four years at Hiram.
