HIRAM, Ohio — October 16, 2026 — Hiram College women's volleyball sophomore Megan Chiang was named the Presidents' Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Monday afternoon.

The honor marks Chiang's third weekly award of her career, following a standout freshman campaign in which she earned both PAC Newcomer of the Week and Offensive Player of the Week recognition. Now in her sophomore season, Chiang continues to build on that success, recently surpassing the 500-career-kill milestone.

Chiang recorded 42 kills and five service aces while hitting .343 to help the Terriers post a 2-1 record last week, including a 2-0 mark in PAC play. She reached the 500-kill milestone during the week and played a key role in Hiram's 3-1 victory over top-seeded Franciscan, recording a double-double with 18 kills and 14 digs.

The Terriers followed the win over Franciscan with a hard-fought five-set loss to John Carroll in Saturday's tri-match. Chiang continued her strong play, tallying another double-double with 16 kills and 13 digs.

Earlier in the week, Hiram opened its weekly schedule with a three-set sweep of Geneva. The Markham, Ontario, native contributed eight kills while hitting .400, along with four service aces, 13 digs and two assists.

Hiram sets its eye on the Yellow Jackets when it travels to Waynesburg University on Saturday for a 1 p.m. start.
