FORT WAYNE, Indiana - January 24, 2026 - The Hiram women's wrestling team competed in the two-day Indiana Tech Warrior Open on Friday and Saturday, a chance for four different student-athletes to get valuable experience at one of the premier institutions in all of Division III women's wrestling.

DeJonae Rivers (131 lbs) highlighted the event by winning her weight class in the second day of the event, while Cicely Cullins (160 lbs), Alazhandra Williams (180 lbs) and Emily Lorenzon (207 lbs) each earned a place in their respective brackets, too.

Williams and Lorenzon picked up a combined four victories over the two days on the mats; Williams continued her standout collegiate debut season by beating Alma's Gabriella Allen (fall, 0:21) and Providence's Kacey Lee Pua (fall, 2:47). Lorenzon followed suit with wins over Providence's Sydnee Nielson (fall, 0:42) and Brewton Parker's Ruble Barton (fall, 1:06); for the season, Lorenzon leads the Terriers in total pins.

After dropping her first two bouts on Friday, Rivers bounced back with three straight wins in the 131-1 bracket on Saturday. The sophomore picked up two wins by forfeit, as well as a win by injury default.

Cullins tallied four bouts over the two days, which included competitive battles against Eastern Oregon's Elizabeth Hodges (fall, 0:50) and Midway's Trinity Gottler (fall, 1:58).

Hiram will get back to the duals on Friday, when it travels to Westerville, OH for a tri-meet with Otterbein and Manchester.
