HIRAM, Ohio – January 17, 2026 – Hiram men's wrestling lost its three duals at the Jim White Duals on the campus of Washington & Jefferson on Saturday, as the Terriers continue their preparation for the PAC Championship in February. Hiram lost to Wilmington (44-12), Mount St. Joseph (38-10) and Washington & Jefferson (31-21) throughout the day.
Taveon Moss had a big day in the 125-lb weight class, beating Wilmington's Cody Lisle by fall, Mount St. Joseph's Dakota Phillips by sudden victory and Washington & Jefferson's Holden Dubois by fall. It adds to Moss's team-leading total of victories this season and puts him on a good trajectory toward earning All-PAC honors on his home mat later in the year.
Picking up victories in the second dual against MSJ was
Jackson Bowers (157 lbs) (major decision, 13-2) and
King-Amari Wright (165 lbs) (decision, 13-8). Bowers continued his success later in the day against W&J, beating Jackson Sandor (major decision, 14-3) to finish 2-1 for the event.
Kaden Duke (174 lbs) and
Eddie Powers (285 lbs) added to the victories against the Presidents, winning by technical fall (24-7) and fall (4:28) respectively.
Hiram will have another dual on Friday, when it travels to Delaware, OH for a matchup with Ohio Wesleyan at 7 p.m.
