HIRAM, Ohio – May 7, 2025 – Hiram's
Ethan Bitong put an exclamation point on the program's final season in the North Coast Athletic Conference on Wednesday, earning All-NCAC Third Team honors for the first time in his career.
Bitong joined
Noah Pilgram (2023, 2024) as the only All-NCAC Third Team selections in the history of the program. He also is the 10
th student-athlete in program history to earn all-conference honors since the program's inception in 2013.
The junior from Uniontown, OH was an integral part of the Terriers defense throughout the 2025 season, finishing with strong numbers in both ground balls (43) and caused turnovers (17). Bitong had a ground ball in 15 of his 16 games played, which included five ground balls against both La Roche (Mar. 18) and Ohio Wesleyan (Mar. 22). He also tallied three caused turnovers against Anderson (Mar. 11) and Heidelberg (Mar. 15).
With 60 career caused turnovers, Bitong is one of four Hiram players all-time to reach that mark (Horace Johnson,
Gray Perry, Liam Pinney). He is also approaching the top-10 list for career ground balls (119).
Bitong and the rest of the Terriers roster will return to the field in 2026, when they begin their first ever season as a member of the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC).
