HIRAM, Ohio – December 16, 2025 – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) released the 2025 CSC Academic All-District® Women's Volleyball team on Tuesday, which honors student-athletes from the Division I, Division II, Division III and NAIA levels for their performance both athletically and academically.
Hiram College women's volleyball had three senior student-athletes earn this distinguished honor: Kelly Hoffman, Brooke Fishback and Riley France. In addition, Hoffman also advanced as one of the finalists for CSC Academic All-America®, which will be voted on by CSC members and later announced on Jan. 13, 2026.
A student-athlete becomes eligible if they are at least a sophomore and hold a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher. They must also have participated in at least 90% of the institution's games or started in a minimum of 66% of those games during the most recent season.
Hoffman, now a two-time recipient of the award, capped off her Hiram career by earning PAC Player of the Year and All-PAC First Team honors. The senior from Streetsboro, OH recorded her 1,000th career dig this season in a win over Grove City, making her one of four student-athletes to reach the 1,000-career dig and 1,000-career assist plateau in program history, joining Fishback, Megan Taylor and Charity Norman.
Fishback, also a CSC All-District selection for the second straight year, was an All-PAC Second Team selection. The senior libero finished top-six in career digs in program history with 1,384. She also is one of four student-athletes to record 1,000 digs and 1,000 assists in her career. Fishback finished the season with a career-high 531 digs, averaging 5.16 per set.
Originally from Powell, OH, France transferred to Hiram ahead of the 2024 season after spending a season at Mercyhurst University. France started all 29 matches and played in all possible sets for the Terriers this past fall. France totaled a career-best 142 kills on the season with a .239 attack percentage, while also playing a critical role defensively (40 total blocks).
Hiram women's volleyball will return to action in 2026 without the help of Hoffman, Fishback and France, a memorable and talented group of senior student-athletes both on and off the court for the program. The team will look to get back to the PAC Tournament Championship under head coach Macy Roell, along with a number of key returners on the team.
