Roell enters her second season on the women's volleyball coaching staff in 2025 and her first year as interim head coach of the Hiram program following a four-year playing career at the University of Rio Grande (NAIA | Rio Grande, OH). In 2024, Roell helped lead the Terriers to their 24th straight NCAC Tournament berth and a number of notable results against PAC opponents ahead of the program's return to that conference.
Roell served an integral role leading Hiram throughout the 2024-25 academic year, assisting both on the court and in the program's day-to-day operations in the offseason. Alongside former head coach Brittany Dye, Roell helped the team to a 5-3 record against PAC opponents in 2024, which included a five-set loss to the eventual conference champion, Allegheny. Roell also worked extensively with All-NCAC selections in Cate Maguire and Emily Richardson.
During her playing career, Roell started all four years as a setter and hitter for the Red Storm, which included three seasons as the team captain and three scholar-athlete awards.
Roell earned her bachelor's degree in business management and also minored in marketing and banking. She is from Farmersville, OH and attended Valley View High School.
