HIRAM, Ohio - December 15, 2025 - Hiram's Lexi Doerflinger was named AMCC Athlete of the Week on Monday, as announced in a release by the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference. It marks the first conference-wide honor for a women's wrestler this season, while also giving Doerflinger her first career weekly honor. She became the first Terriers student-athlete to earn the award since Mallory Chunat on Nov. 5, 2024. 

Doerflinger went a perfect 5-0 at the Terrier Round Robin on Sunday, picking up three wins by fall and two wins by technical fall. She placed first for the 110-lb weight class and increased her win total for the season to 13.

A two-time national qualifier, Doerflinger has flourished throughout her three seasons with the Terriers. She also was an All-AMCC selection last season following the AMCC Invitational in Hiram, OH.

Doerflinger and the rest of the Terriers will hit the road again on Sunday, when they travel to West Liberty, WV for the Hilltopper Duals.
