HIRAM, Ohio – December 15, 2025 – Hiram Athletics awarded its Terrier of the Week honors to Brock Makrancy (men's basketball) and Alazhandra Williams (women's wrestling) on Monday afternoon, with both student-athletes standing out in their respective competitions in Price Gymnasium this week.

Makrancy had an efficient night against Case Western Reserve University this past Wednesday, shooting 7-11 from the field, finishing the night with a season-high 15 points. Makrancy sparked a second half rally against the Spartans, as he scored 11 of his 15 in the second half. The senior from Findlay, Ohio is shooting 56% from the field and 54.2% from behind the arc through 8 games this year. Makrancy ranks in the top-three on the team in points, rebounds, assists, and minutes played.

For Williams, she won her weight class (180 lbs) at the Terriers Round Robin this past Sunday inside Price Gymnasium. The first-year Williams went a perfect 5-0 and added two more pins to her young career. The undefeated day brought her season record to a team-best 10-3 with a 76.9 winning percentage and five pins. Williams looks to continue a remarkable freshman year as the Terriers travel to West Liberty, WV as they compete in the Hilltoppers Duals this upcoming Sunday.
