HIRAM, Ohio – November 24, 2025 – Cicely Cullins of women's wrestling and Taveon Moss of men's wrestling have earned the twelfth edition of Terriers of the Week. This comes after impressive individual performances by each athlete leading into the holiday break and eventually a home meet for the men's team and the AMCC Duals for the women's team.
For Moss, he continued to make a splash in his first collegiate season, beating Albion and Muskingum by fall to advance to the third round of the main bracket. Despite a loss to West Liberty, Moss bounced back with three more wins in the consolation bracket to claim fifth place; the Roxboro, NC native beat West Liberty by fall (1:40), Trine by sudden victory (14-11) and West Liberty again by major decision (17-5) to earn a team-high five wins and join teammate Will Brodbeck as the second student-athlete on the team to place at an event this season. Moss and the Terrier men's wrestling team will be back in action on Friday, December 5, when they host Thiel College.
Cicely Cullins won by technical fall at 180 lbs (12-2) against Alfred State this past Sunday at the JCU Duals, helping Hiram secure its second dual win against an AMCC team this season (also against Penn State Altoona). Cullins later won by decision against D'Youville (5-3) to cap off the day and finish a perfect 2-0. Cullins and the women's wrestling team will be back in action on Saturday, December 6 when they travel to Altoona, PA for the AMCC Duals.
