HIRAM, Ohio – November 17, 2025 – Jon Hybil of men's swimming and Morgan Tomblin of women's volleyball have earned the eleventh edition of Terriers of the Week. This comes after impressive performances that led to victories for each team, including a conference win for men's swimming and a PAC Tournament Championship appearance for women's volleyball.
For Hybil, he was impressive on Saturday at Westminster, winning all of his individual events and also taking part in a winning relay team. Hybil and the Terriers were victorious in the 200-yard medley relay and the 400-yard freestyle relay, with the senior from Aurora, OH also winning the 100-yard breaststroke and the 200-yard breaststroke. Hybil and the Terriers will be back in action on Thursday when they travel to the Malone Invitational.
For Tomblin, she was outstanding for Hiram in the PAC Tournament last week. The junior from Parma, OH recorded 47 kills in the three tournament games for the Terriers, including a team-high and career-high 24 kills in the semifinals against Westminster. Tomblin stepped up into a critical role for the Terriers and did not falter in helping the Terriers go deep in the PAC Tournament. Tomblin was impressive when the Terriers needed her most and ended the week in style by earning a spot on the PAC All-Tournament Team alongside teammates Brooke Fishback and Kelly Hoffman.
Hiram Athletics will return to action on Thursday, when swimming opens competition at the Malone Invitational and women's basketball travels to Pittsburgh to take on La Roche.
