BEREA, Ohio - November 22, 2025 - Taveon Moss spearheaded Hiram at the BW Invitational on Saturday, as the first-year placed fifth in the 125-lb bracket, while Will Brodbeck (149 lbs), Nathan Westinghouse (149 lbs) and King-Amari Wright (165 lbs) each picked up wins in their respective consolation brackets.
As a team, the Terriers placed 12th in the field, trailing some of the top-teams in the region like Baldwin Wallace (first place), Manchester (second) and CWRU (third).
Moss continued to make a splash in his first collegiate season, beating Albion and Muskingum by fall to advance to the third round of the main bracket. Despite a loss to West Liberty, Moss bounced back with three more wins in the consolation bracket to claim fifth place; the Roxboro, NC native beat West Liberty by fall (1:40), Trine by sudden victory (14-11) and West Liberty again by major decision (17-5) to earn a team-high five wins and join Brodbeck as the second student-athlete on the team to place at an event this season.
Brodbeck and Westinghouse both earned victories in the 149-lb bracket, as Brodbeck beat Muskingum by fall (4:44) and Westinghouse beat Trine by decision (11-6) to give two of the team's veteran wrestlers a pair of victories.
Amari-Wright rounded out the roster with a win in the 165-lb consolation bracket, topping his teammate, Caleb Cordova, by fall (3:49) and Mount St. Joseph by decision (8-5).
Hiram will have its first home dual of the season on Friday, Dec. 5, when it hosts Thiel for a PAC matchup at 7 p.m. inside Price Gymnasium in Hiram, OH.
