ALLIANCE, Ohio – November 1, 2025 – The Hiram men's wrestling team competed in the Mount Union Invitational on Saturday afternoon, which is the first official meet this season for the Terriers in what figures to be a record-setting year for a deep roster.
Leading the charge for the Terriers was Will Brodbeck, who placed 5th in the 149-lb weight class, with wins over Ohio Northern and Mount Union by decision and fall respectively. Brodbeck also earned a win in the 5th-place match to secure 14 points for the Terriers.Â
Also scoring for Hiram was Taveon Moss, who won by fall against Gannon, John Carroll, and Mount Union, which secured a well-earned 7.5 points for the freshman.Â
Also making their collegiate debuts at the event were Dominic Cardoso, Caleb Cordova, King-Amari Wright, Kaden Duke, Dino Longo and Rylan Hughes.
Hiram men's wrestling will be back in action on Saturday, when they travel to Washington, PA for the W&J Invitational.Â
