ADA, Ohio - March 1, 2024 - The Hiram men's wrestling team finished off its season at the NCAA Central Regional on Friday, a 19-team event featuring Division III schools from Ohio, Michigan and Indiana. Full results for the event are below.

Hiram had seven student-athletes compete at the event, including Seth Holt (165 lbs) and Jimmy Thomas (174 lbs), who lead the team in wins this season.

Holt battled hard in the event, losing by fall to Wabash's Jesse Herrera (1:51) and by technical fall to Adrian's Trenton DiGenova (18-2). Thomas lost by technical fall to Olivet's Mitchell Reynolds (18-2) and by fall in a lengthy battle against Ohio Northern's Adam Myers (4:35).

Also getting valuable experience at the event was sophomore Ian Fuentes (125 lbs), sophomore Will Brodbeck (141 lbs), freshman Nathan Westinghouse (149 lbs), junior Zach Harper (197 lbs) and senior Eddie Powers (285 lbs). 

Hiram will now head into the offseason with plenty of optimism, as the team returns the majority of its roster with room to grow for the winter of 2024-25.
