ALFRED, New York - February 10, 2024 - The Hiram men's wrestling team placed fifth at the AMCC Championships on Saturday, marking the team's second appearance in the event since joining the AMCC as an affiliate member.

Seth Holt (165 lbs) shined on the playoff stage, winning by fall against Penn in two separate bouts to place third (1:58 and 2:28). The results add to Holt's breakout season, as he continues to climb the all-time leaderboard and leads his team in wins in 2023-24.

Also picking up multiple victories in the conference championships was Will Brodbeck (141 lbs). The sophomore beat Pitt-Bradford by fall (5:34) and Penn State Behrend by technical fall (16-0) before losing to Penn State Behrend by major decision in the consolation semifinals.

Rounding out the team's best results were Nathan Westinghouse (141 lbs) with a win by decision against Pitt-Bradford (2-0) and Eddie Powers with a win by decision (4-2).
