HIRAM, Ohio - August 21, 2023 - The Hiram football program announced its 2023 coaching staff earlier this month, which includes the additions of Joby Sullivan (Wide Receiver Coach), Randall Taylor (Offensive Line Coach/Video Coordinator), Nate Dean (Cornerbacks Coach), Brock Mancini (Outside Linebackers Coach) and Tyler D'Alfonso (Running Backs/Tight Ends Coach).

Sullivan joins the Terriers after spending three seasons at Finlandia University. He served as an offensive coordinator, quarterbacks coach, wide receivers coach and recruiting coordinator with the Lions; the team set numerous passing and receiving records under his leadership.
Taylor last coached at Dickinson State University, primarily working with the tight ends. The Blue Hawks won their conference for the eighth year in a row and finished 8-2 in the regular season with Taylor on the coaching staff.
Dean recently served as a track & field coach at Villa Angela-St. Joseph in Cleveland after a successful career as a two-sport athlete at Ohio Northern University. He was a three-year starter at cornerback and one-year receiver with the Polar Bears, while also earning All-American status in track & field.
Mancini was the defensive line coach at Oberlin College before coming to Hiram for the 2023 campaign. As a linebacker himself, Mancini played two seasons at Thomas More University and two seasons at Hiram in 2020 and 2021.
D'Alfonso coached at Forest Park High School (Woodbridge, VA) and Oakton High School (Vienna, VA) prior to joining the Terriers. He worked in a number of areas with both of those football programs, including scouting, gameday operations and wide receiver coaching.
Hiram will also have a number of students working with the program, including managers Jadyn Barnett (defense), Lizzy Scharer (offense), Madison Reikowski (operations/recruiting) and Breyana Buxton (social media). Zachary Harper will serve as a student intern.
The season is set to begin on Thursday, August 31, when the Terriers play host to Heidelberg at 7 p.m. at Henry Field.
