Maska enters his second season as the offensive coordinator and his third season as the recruiting coordinator with the Hiram Terriers football program in 2023-24, having joined the Terriers from SUNY Cortland in Cortland, New York where he served as the offensive line coach and recruiting coordinator and the tight ends and assistant offensive line coach over two seasons.
Maska led the Terriers offense to over 25 points per game in 2022, which also ranked fourth in the NCAC in yards per rush (4.6) and third in pass completions (205). He led a unit that included running back Malcolm Rogers, who earned First Team All-NCAC.
Maska helped the Dragons to a 15-6 overall record over his two years with the program and an Empire 8 Conference Co-Championship in 2019. The Dragons ranked first in the conference in scoring and total offense under Maska in 2019 and finished in the top-10 in the NCAA in both sacks and tackles for loss allowed.
Six offensive linemen earned All-Empire 8 Conference honors over his two years with the program, and one earned an American Football Coaches of America (AFCA) All-America selection in 2019.
Prior to joining the Dragons, Maska spent a season as the offensive line coach at Fossil Ridge High School in Fort Collins, Colo.
Maska began his coaching career at Alfred University in Alfred, N.Y., spending two seasons as a graduate assistant from 2015-17, working with the offensive line. During his two years with the program, Maska helped coach offensive linemen who earned five All-Empire 8 honors, three D3football.com All-East selections and two D3football.com All-Americans. And in 2016, Maska helped coach a Saxon team that finished 12-1 and advanced to the NCAA Division III quarterfinals.
A two-time graduate of Alfred University, Maska earned his bachelor's degree in marking from Alfred in Aug. 2015, and his master's degree in business administration from Alfred in May 2017.
