ELMIRA, New York – January 14, 2023 – Hiram fell short against Elmira, 39-8, as part of the Elmira College Duals on Saturday morning.
The meet marked the Terriers' first action dating back to Dec. 17, when they hosted their first meet of the campaign.
Overall, Hiram is now 3-11 in dual meets on the season.
Erika Novak highlighted the day with a win over Leslie Monterrosa (Criteria 5-5 – Hiram) at the 143-lb weight class. Kenedi Keesey also won by forfeit in the 130-lb class.
Bethany Smith (136 lbs) and Allydia Byard (155 lbs) worked hard before losing in their respective weight classes.
The Terriers will host their 3rd meet in program history on Friday at 7 p.m. inside Price Gymnasium. They are scheduled to face Davenport, Albion and Tiffin.
