Box Score BEVERLY HILLS, Mich.– February 29, 2020- The Hiram College men's lacrosse team dropped a 14-3 decision at Adrian, Saturday afternoon.
The Terriers are now 2-1 on the season, while Adrian improves to 1-1.
The Bulldogs scored two times in the opening period and added four more goals in the second to build a 6-0 halftime lead.
Adrian maintained their scoring momentum in the last 30 minutes holding an 8-3 advantage.
Two Terriers scored in the second half of the game, including freshman Ethan Mayer off an assist from senior Hunter Jenkins. Minutes later, Jenkins scored his first goal of the game in the third quarter. In the fourth quarter, Jenkins scored one last Hiram goal on a man-up opportunity, but Hiram was never able to bounce back cementing Adrian's 14-3 victory.
Hiram will return home on Thursday, March 5, as they host Bethany. The matchup with the Bison is slated for a 4:30 p.m. start.
