Men's Lacrosse Upended by Wittenberg

HIRAM, Ohio- The Hiram College men's lacrosse team dropped a 19-6 decision against Wittenberg on Saturday afternoon. 
 
Despite the Terriers posting 17 shots in the opening half of action, the Tigers held Hiram scoreless tallying 13 of their 19 goals.  
 
Action picked up for Hiram in the second half with Tim Stucky scoring the first Terrier goal fresh out the halftime break.  
 
From there the Terriers would score five more times including goals from Jaret Walland, Justin Dionne, Hunter Jenkins, Jonah Austin, and one more from Stucky.  
 
Although the effort cut down the Wittenberg lead, the Tigers continued to perform well on offense and secured the 19-6 victory. 
 
Offensively, Stucky paced the Terriers with a pair of goals and a groundball.  
 
Next, the Terriers will take on Ohio Wesleyan on Saturday, April 20, as they head to Delaware, Ohio. The conference matchup is scheduled for a 1:00 p.m. start.
