Oct.26- WOOSTER, Ohio - The Hiram College swimming and diving team fell in the tri-meet matchup at Wooster, Saturday afternoon.
Senior
Jenna Nelson was the top performer of the night, capturing a first-place finish in the 200-yard breaststroke coming in two seconds faster than the next swimmer (2:38.62). In the 100-yard breaststroke, Nelson took second with a time of 1:15.06.

Jill Schmidt swam a career-best time in the 1,000-yard freestyle clocking in at 15:07.68.
Another notable performance includes sophomore
Carlee Lisser in the 500-yard freestyle (6:02.08).
Devin Gear shaved off over thirteen seconds off his seed time in the 200-yard backstroke in 2:31.73, before swimming a personal record time in the 200-yard IM (2:35.90).
In the tri-meet, Hiram faced both Wooster and Notre Dame. Wooster captured the win 240-6 on the men's side and 222-39 on the women's. Notre Dame secured the victory over Hiram with a final men's score of 199-8 and a 142-69 on the men's.
The Terriers will hit the pool again on Saturday, Nov.9 when they head to Steubenville, Ohio. The tri-meet with Wilmington and Franciscan is set for 1:00 pm.
