HIRAM, Ohio – April 1, 2025 – Hiram's Haven Papineau was named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Team for swimming & diving on Tuesday afternoon, a prestigious honor that recognizes student-athletes who accelerate both in the classroom and throughout the year of competition.

To qualify, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore with a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or above; they also must compete in at least five competitions or finish top-eight at a conference meet.

Papineau did just that, particularly toward the end of the 2024-25 season, when she swam personal bests in the 50-yard freestyle (27.27), 100-yard freestyle (59.48) and 100-yard backstroke (1:06.45) at the NCAC Championships in Granville, Ohio. She also swam a season-best time in the 50-yard backstroke (30.56) at the season's most important meet.

The sophomore from Indianapolis, IN is an accounting major with minors in both entrepreneurship and management at Hiram College. She also is a member of the Terriers softball program.

The Hiram swimming teams will return to the pool in 2025-26, which marks both programs' return to the Presidents' Athletic Conference.
