Nov.9- HIRAM, Ohio - The Hiram College swimming & diving team competed in a home dual meet against Bethany College, Friday evening.
The Terriers captured a 59-36 victory on the women's side and dropped an 89-79 decision on the men's side.
Michael Barber collected the first Hiram victory of the night in the 800-meter medley relay in a time of 10:23.94, before winning the 400-meter freestyle (5:04.89).
The Terriers kept the theme going with back-to-back wins in the 50-meter freestyle from
Sierra Daniels (34.02) and Eli Skaggs (26.67).
Skaggs also earned top points in the 100-meter butterfly clocking in over three seconds faster than his competition (1:03.49).
Freshman
Carlee Lisser swam her lone victory of the night in the 200-meter IM (2:54.48).
Senior
Reeve Bowling won two separate events, taking both the 200-meter IM (2:34.96) and the 100-meter breaststroke (1:17.08).
Sophomore
Darien Street captured the top spot in the100-meter freestyle clocking in at 1:04.07.
Hiram will be back at it on Saturday, November 10 as they travel to Wilmington at 1 p.m.
