Nov. 4 - HIRAM, Ohio- The Hiram swimming & diving teams collected six wins and a couple of top place finishes in their meet against Wooster, Saturday evening.
The Terriers fell to the Fighting Scots 116-77 on the men's side and 165-26 on the women's.
In the first event of the day, the 200 medley relay, Hiram made their mark capturing a first place win in 1:59.30. The relay team included junior Reeve Bowling and the freshmen trio of Elijah Skaggs, Brady Gunther and Darien Street.
Bowling led the Terrier men, sweeping the 100-meter freestyle (58.35) and breaststroke (1:16.38).
Skaggs collected another win, swimming the 200-meter freestyle in 2:04.38, his fastest time of the season. He also was a second shy of a victory in the 100-meter butterfly (1:02.32).
Street fought to the finish in the 200-meter individual medley snagging first in a time of 2:39.87.
Captain Jenna Nelson led the Terrier women with a victory in the 100-meter breaststroke in 1:25.87, and a second place finish in the 800-meter freestyle, clocking in at 10:40.34.
The Terriers will be back in action on Saturday, November 11, as they take on Wilmington. The action is slated for a 1 p.m. start.
